Heritage Minutes, are sixty second short films, each illustrating and important moment in Canadian history. They've appeared frequently on Canadian television and in cinemas prior to movie screenings. The minutes were first introduced in 1991 and have become a part of Canadian culture. Not all the episodes actually aired. Many of them are available for viewing online.
